Overview:We are seeking a motivated and experienced Equity/Derivatives Trade Support professional to join our team. The Equity Swaps Trade (ESSL) Control team provides crucial support across various trading desks, including flow, yield enhancement, and Delta 1 desks in both London and Paris, with involvement in structured and exotic products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform lifecycle events on swaps, including corporate action event processing (elections & bookings)
  • Reconcile single stock and index dividends against hedges
  • Handle rate and price fixings, along with processing dividend payments and FX
  • Investigate P&L discrepancies and resolve queries efficiently
  • Build and maintain robust operational controls for risk monitoring
  • Provide enhanced client-facing swap support (FTS)
  • Manage inter-system reconciliations and ensure smooth operational processes
  • Contribute to project enhancements beyond day-to-day tasks, focusing on process improvements
  • Collaborate with tech, front office, back office, and other relevant stakeholders to streamline operations

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Strong understanding of equity swaps, derivatives, and lifecycle events
  • Experience in corporate action processing, dividend reconciliation, and FX
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills for query resolution and P&L discrepancy investigation
  • Proven ability to build effective relationships with tech teams, front office, back office, and clients
  • Demonstrated ability to improve processes and drive operational efficiency
