Are you reliable, personable and professional? Are you keen to support the success of student examinations? If so, Signature Recruitment is seeking Exam Invigilators to join our client, a prestigious London university for a temporary assignment. This role is to start early January for one week and is based on campus.

As an Exam Invigilator, you will join the School Support Staff assisting with running examinations. Your duties are vital to maintaining the integrity of the exam process, from the preparation of materials to the direct support and supervision of exams to collating and returning papers and additional materials at the end.

Exam Invigilator Key Responsibilities:

  • Attending a morning briefing with the Lead Invigilator
  • Preparing examination materials, setting up exam rooms and supporting the coordination and delivery of exams including for those working with computers
  • Acting as an invigilator, ensuring a fair and orderly examination process reporting any discrepancy or irregularity directly to the Lead Invigilator
  • Dealing with student questions and queries in a friendly yet professional manner
  • Collating exam papers and other materials at the end of the exam
  • Undertaking additional ad-hoc duties as required in order to support the smooth running of the process

Exam Invigilator Key Skills:

  • The ability to follow policy and procedure on academic integrity and support student welfare
  • A confident communicator with a calm, friendly demeanour
  • Good organisational skills with a keen eye for detail, ensuring accuracy in all tasks
  • A proactive approach, happy to help and work flexibly at a variety of tasks both independently and within a team
