Our client an education charity based in East London is currently seeking an Exams Officer and IQA Administrator to join their team to cover a maternity contract. Reporting to the Head of Vocational you will ensure that the exam process runs smoothly for all classes whilst, working with the team to ensure the best possible education for all students by helping to ensure internal quality assurance.  

Key responsibilities include:

  • Oversee the seamless execution of exams.
  • Work across all departments to ensure our quality cycle is adhered to.
  • Manage all exam result-related enquiries, including appeals and re-sits.
  • Maintain clear and consistent communication with managers, tutors, students, parents, and external stakeholders.

About you:

  • Proven experience in data management, including data collection, organisation, with a focus on maintaining accuracy and integrity.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements set by awarding bodies and other relevant authorities, with the ability to ensure compliance with all guidelines, procedures, and deadlines.
  • Equivalent experience in a similar role, particularly involving liaison with awarding bodies, will also be considered.
  • A self-starter, able to work on their own initiative and use own judgement to problem solve.
