Our client is looking for a 2024 Numerical Graduate who is definitely eager to learn about FX in a fast-paced, fresh, young environment. Our client is searching for somebody with no prior experience and is looking for a 'foot-in-the-door' opportunity within the Financial Services sector.

Duties & Responsibilities:
The key responsibilities for the Permanent Operations Assistant working for this dynamic FX firm based in Canary Wharf will be:
- Liaise with the sales team and clients to resolve trade and settlement queries.
- Confirm and upload new beneficiary bank details.
- Set up multi-currency payments across a variety of providers.
- Action FX Swap draw-downs and rollovers when requested.
- Allocate incoming client funds in a timely manner.
- Log FX trades.
- Ensure transaction data is recorded correctly.
- Create reports for both internal and external use.
- Investigate any issues or queries and escalate where necessary.
- Assist in the testing and implementation of new systems and system updates.
Application Criteria:
- 2024 Numerical Graduate.
- Diligence and attention to detail while working in a fast-paced environment.
- Performance driven and results orientated with a hunger to problem solve.
- Confident and proactive in communicating with people at all levels and working as part of the team.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
- Ability to manage and prioritise a busy work-load and to remain calm under pressure.
Compensation:
This Permanent Operations Assistant role based in Canary Wharf will be paid a competitive market based salary of between £24,000 - £27,000 PA.
