Are you an outstanding teacher with strong subject knowledge looking to develop in their career?

We are currently looking for a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our teachingteam as Head of Biology.

This role is ideal for an experienced teacher who has QTS, and seeking the next step in their career, transitioning into middle leadership. The successful candidate will have a passion for both teaching and leadership, with a demonstrated ability to inspire and motivate both students and colleagues.

Key Experience:

• Teach Biology to KS4 and KS5.
• Experience of leading, coordinating and monitoring across the department or of a significant area within this department (e.g.KS4/KS5,AFL)
• Clear evidence of successful teaching across the full ability and age range at examination level
• Clear evidence of raising student achievement within a successful department
• Experience of raising the achievement of targeted groups (e.g. Higher attainers, SEN, EAL, boys, FSM)
• Experience in a multi-cultural environment
