Are you an ambitious sales professional with a passion for spirits and a track record of success in the alcohol industry? We're recruiting on behalf of a dynamic and rapidly growing premium spirits brand, recognised for its award-winning range in a renowned category featured in high profile publications.

This female-founded startup is redefining the cocktail experience and is looking for a Head of Sales to lead their UK retail and European export business.

About the Role:

As Head of Sales, you’ll be at the forefront of this exciting brand’s growth, taking ownership of their UK and European sales strategy.

Your mission will be to drive off-trade and export sales, secure new business opportunities, and expand distribution networks. This role is perfect for a proactive leader who thrives in a startup environment, where no two days are the same, and the potential for growth is limitless.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead new business development across UK retail and European export markets.
  • Strengthen the brand's presence in the UK’s off-trade sector, including independent retailers.
  • Collaborate with on-trade teams to secure listings in key venues like bars and restaurants.
  • Build relationships with European distributors to unlock new markets.
  • Identify creative opportunities, including events and festivals, to boost brand visibility.
  • Use your industry network to drive revenue and build diverse customer relationships.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Proven experience in alcohol sales, particularly in the spirits sector.
  • Strong knowledge of the UK Off Trade landscape, and idealy experience working with European distributors.
  • A self-motivated, independent ‘go-getter’ who thrives on closing deals and building long-lasting partnerships.
  • A hands-on approach with a passion for brand-building and developing growth strategies.
  • Commercially astute with excellent communication and negotiation skills.
