The Role:

I am looking for a seasoned SEO professional to join the business as their Head of SEO, you'll drive our SEO division forward, ensuring exceptional performance and innovation. Rather than executing deliverables yourself, your focus will be on strategy, leadership, and growth.

The ideal candidate will be a proven SEO leader with a commercial mindset and a passion for team development. You'll bring agency experience, an entrepreneurial spirit, and a drive to deliver exceptional client results. Someone to lead, scale, and innovate within the SEO division.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Oversee SEO audits and campaigns, ensuring high ROI and client satisfaction.
  • Quality Assurance: Maintain top-tier SEO standards through mentoring and team development.
  • Process Innovation: Enhance team structures, workflows, and playbooks for efficiency and scalability.
  • Upskilling & Development: Train and mentor team members to drive cutting-edge SEO strategies.
  • Thought Leadership: Represent the agency at industry events and build our authority in the SEO space.
  • Sales & Growth: Support pre-sales and pitches, helping to win new business.
  • Scaling the Team: Develop strategies to expand the SEO team and meet increasing demand.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 5+ years in an SEO leadership role within an agency environment.
  • Proven experience managing and growing SEO teams.
  • Strong commercial acumen and ability to balance profitability with client success.
  • Track record of securing new business through proposals and pitches.
  • Passion for mentoring, training, and upskilling SEO professionals.
