Are you a skilled and creative Head Pastry Chef ready to take the next role?
My client is seeking a talented Head Pastry Chef to elevate their dessert offerings within this Members club with multi outlets and bedrooms.
Oversee a team of 5 pastry chefs serving modern and classical French/European deserts
No Afternoon teas.
Working 5 out of 7 days per week
Key Responsibilities:
Showcase Seasonal Ingredients: Design dessert menus for each outlet that highlight fresh, local, and seasonal produce
Supervise Pastry Production: Oversee all aspects of pastry production to maintain high standards in both taste and presentation.
Train and Mentor Junior Pastry Staff: Mentor and train junior staff, encouraging a culture of innovation and high performance.
Collaborate with Senior Management: Work closely with the senior management team to ensure a cohesive and enjoyable dining experience.
Manage Inventory and Supplies: Oversee the inventory and ordering of pastry supplies to ensure efficient stock management.
What the client is looking for:
Extensive Experience: Proven track record and work stability in luxury 5-star hotels and/or Michelin star restaurants in London.
Creative Portfolio: A strong portfolio showcasing your pastry expertise and innovative creations.
Leadership Abilities: Demonstrated leadership skills with the capability to inspire and develop a team.
Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail and a passion for delivering outstanding culinary experiences.
