The Role:

Person Specification:

Essential:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and substantial experience in a leadership role within a primary school setting.

  • A proven track record of improving educational outcomes and driving school improvement.

  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate staff and pupils.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with all stakeholders.

  • A commitment to inclusion and diversity, ensuring all pupils thrive regardless of background or ability.

  • A deep understanding of safeguarding policies and a commitment to pupil welfare.

Desirable:

  • Experience of working in an urban primary school setting.

  • NPQH (National Professional Qualification for Headship) or equivalent leadership qualification.

  • Experience in budget management and resource allocation.

  • A passion for innovation in education and curriculum development.
