Exciting Opportunity: PA to Headteacher & Senior Leadership Team (SLT)

We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Personal Assistant to join a dynamic school community. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of the Headteacher’s office and supporting the Senior Leadership Team in delivering excellence across the school. Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide dedicated PA support to the Headteacher and SLT, managing diaries, scheduling meetings, and anticipating their needs
  • Draft, manage, and distribute a variety of communications, including emails, memos, and reports
  • Take accurate minutes during leadership and governance meetings, ensuring timely distribution to all stakeholders
  • Manage office systems, including data management, filing, and safeguarding confidential information
  • Assist with reception and front-line duties, ensuring a welcoming environment for staff, students, and visitors
  • Oversee the school’s external communications, including maintaining the website and social media presence
  • Organise hospitality and logistics for meetings and events

What We're Looking For:

  • Proven experience as a PA, ideally within a school setting
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple tasks and deadlines effortlessly
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with staff, students, parents, and external stakeholders
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel) and a working knowledge of SIMS (desirable)
  • A proactive, professional, and flexible approach to work, with a strong sense of discretion and confidentiality
  • A solid understanding of safeguarding and child protection policies
