We are seeking an HR Assistant to join a dynamic team in a fast growing company. This role involves supporting the resourcing team in recruiting for various roles, managing sensitive data, and assisting in various HR functions. The ideal candidate will have experience in HR administration within the construction industry and possess strong organisational and communication skills.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Assist the resourcing team in recruiting for both Blue and White collar roles.
  • Maintain the recruitment spreadsheet with up-to-date personal information, ensuring compliance with data protection regulations.
  • Attend and take minutes at weekly labour and HR team meetings.
  • Regularly update the KDMS database and manage job descriptions securely.
  • Coordinate the creation of labour orders and organise site visits.
  • Arrange and participate in interviews, including those for apprentices.
  • Support the coordination of the probationary review process and company induction for new recruits.
  • Provide assistance in disciplinary, grievance hearings, exit interviews, and other HR-related meetings as directed by the HR Manager.
  • Manage leave of absence requests and serve as a point of contact for HR queries.
  • Contribute to the HR Board Report with relevant data.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Experience in an administrative role within the construction industry is desirable.
  • Relevant qualification or 1-2 years of relevant experience in HR.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications and capable of producing accurate reports.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Excellent organisational, planning, and prioritising skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to maintain confidentiality in all HR matters.
