Our leading US Law Firm client is seeking a HR Assistant to join them in their expanding London based HR team. The role will work directly with the Head of HR and a HR Manager, supporting the London office and working closely with the firms US teams.

The HR Assistant will be a fully generalist role and will also work closely with specialist HR teams. The HR Assistant will provide day-to-day administrative support to the London HR Team and act as first point of contact for many administrative HR matters and project support.

Duties of the HR Assistant:

  • Responsible for accurate maintenance of HR data using the HRIS (Workday)
  • Preparing various documents and HR correspondence
  • Playing a key role assisting in employee lifecycle processes
  • Ad-hoc project work and support
  • Assist in the development of junior HR apprentices
  • Assisting with the end to end recruitment process for Legal staff

Requirements of the HR Assistant:

  • 1+ years relevant experience ideally working within a law firm or similar professional services firm
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work to strict deadlines and prioritise workloads
  • Good understanding of IT systems, experience with Workday would be highly beneficial
