Job Title: HR Assistant

About Us:

Venn Group are working with a leading social housing providers who are seeking an enthusiastic HR Assistant to join their team. If you are passionate about human resources and looking to develop your career, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the recruitment process, including posting job adverts, screening candidates, scheduling interviews, and maintaining candidate records
  • Support the onboarding process for new employees by preparing employment contracts, conducting orientations, and collecting necessary documentation
  • Maintain and update employee records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality
  • Help coordinate training and development programs for staff
  • Assist with payroll administration, ensuring timely and accurate data entry
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, and benefits
  • Assist with HR compliance and ensure adherence to employment laws and company policies
  • Other administrative tasks as assigned by the HR Manager

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory)
  • 1-2 years of experience in an HR or administrative role is an advantage
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Familiarity with HRIS systems is a plus
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
