Description

The Legal Counsel role will include the following responsibilities:

  • Providing accurate, relevant and timely advice on a variety of legal and compliance topics that relate to the Firm and its business or services, including corporate, commercial, data protection and compliance.
  • Drafting, reviewing and negotiating contracts on behalf of the Firm.
  • Working closely with the Firm's Knowledge, Management and Operations teams to review, design and maintain appropriate company precedents, practice notes, policies and procedures.
  • Staying up to date with changes to laws, rules and regulations that directly affect the Firm and conducting legal research and analysis.

Profile

Suitable candidates for the role of Legal Counsel will have the following qualifications / experience:

  • Qualified solicitor
  • Proven experience in a wide range of areas that include, but not limited to: Commercial,, Corporate, Litigation, and Data Protection & Compliance.
  • Knowledge of Law Firm operations is essential.
  • Experience in operating in both a Law Firm and an In-House Environment would be beneficial.
