Panoramic Associates is currently working with a London borough to facilitate the appointment of an Interim Biodiversity Officer on an interim basis for an initial 6-month contract (with likely extension). This role supports the implementation of the borough's biodiversity strategy, working on conservation projects and advising on ecological impacts of planning applications to enhance urban biodiversity. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in habitat management and policy advisory to drive sustainable changes within the borough.

Responsibilities of the Role:

  • Support the delivery of the borough's biodiversity strategy, aligning with national and international conservation targets
  • Manage conservation projects including habitat restoration, urban green space enhancement, and species monitoring
  • Provide ecological guidance on planning applications to meet biodiversity goals
