Interim Head of People

Search Consultancy are currently working with one of our Nationwide clients to recruit this role on an ongoing interim basis.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the oversight & strategy management of the People Team within this large organisation based out of their Central London office. This role will be partnered with one of the Managing Directors within the business to promote & cultivate a high performance culture.

Duties involved in this role will include:
* Execution of the People Strategy across the wider business
* Leading on organisational development across Change, Talent, L&D & Rewards
* Creation & execution of a workforce plan in line with the business strategy to include succession planning & strategic hires at senior level
* Monitor & measure insights across a number of deliverables including labour costs, engagement, sickness absence & talent attraction/retention/attrition
* Creation of a culture-change plan for the business, working closely with Senior Management on embedding the plan
* Creating an environment of high performance, trust & openness by establishing strong relationships across the Senior Leadership team
* Offering professional expertise & counsel across the board on a number of HR issues
* Leading & inspiring a team of People Business Partners, acting as a role model across the People Team

In order to be considered for this role your skills and experience should include:
* Extensive & relevant experience in a Senior HR role from within a Government, Public Sector or Justice setting - including the management of reward, employee relations, talent, succession planning, leadership development & TUPE
* A strong demonstrable track record in managing & driving HR strategy & initiatives
* A pragmatic approach to People issues
* The ability to influence both internal & external stakeholders across all levels
