Junior ERP Support

This family owned builders' merchant are looking for a dedicated Junior ERP Support professional to join their Kilburn based team.

In this role, you will assist in the development and implementation of a cutting-edge ERP system. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to create user-friendly solutions, develop and deliver comprehensive training plans, and ensure the system runs smoothly post go-live. Plus, you’ll have the opportunity to implement new features and functionalities that will drive the business forward.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience Required:

  • Training and development experience.
  • Software development experience (preferred but not essential).
  • Strong problem-solving, planning and analytical skills.
  • SQL knowledge (preferred but not essential).
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Understanding of cross-functional teams within a business.
  • Strong knowledge of ERP systems, preferably Intact IQ, and training methodologies.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of technological trends.

Key Responsibilities:

ERP System Implementation Support:

  • Assist in the configuration, testing, and deployment of the new ERP system.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external suppliers to develop user-friendly solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues during the implementation phase.

Training Module Development and Delivery:

  • Develop training materials, including manuals, video tutorials, and online resources.
  • Deliver training sessions, both in-person and online, ensuring all employees are proficient in the new ERP system’s functionalities.
  • Customise training sessions based on the specific needs of different departments.

Implementation Success Measurement

  • Design and implement assessment tools to measure the effectiveness of the training programs.
  • Establish a feedback loop with staff to identify training needs and areas for improvement.
  • Report training success metrics to senior management and suggest areas for improvement.
  • Ensure team members are knowledgeable about the system and can serve customers effectively.

New Starter Induction Support:

  • Collaborate with the HR team to ensure all new employees receive appropriate IT induction and are fully trained to use the new ERP system.
  • Assist in creating and delivering onboarding materials that enable new starters to serve customers effectively using the new system.

IT Support and Maintenance:

  • Provide day-to-day ERP support to staff, resolving technical issues and escalating more complex problems to senior ERP team members.
  • Assist in maintaining the ERP system, including software updates, system backups, troubleshooting issues, and managing security and roles.
