Junior Logistics Operative

DCT Recruitment are currently seeking an experienced Junior Logistics Operative to join our team.
This is permanent position based in Knowsley, Liverpool .

As a Junior Logistics Operative, you will play a crucial role in managing our customers' shipments throughout the full 360 process. This includes collection, warehousing, containering, packing, and shipping. While the position is mainly office-based, you will also be required to work in the warehouse, ensuring the efficiency of operations. Your day-to-day duties will be varied, and you will need to adapt quickly to changing priorities in this fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
- Manage the full shipment process, from collection to shipping
- Liaise with existing suppliers to obtain quotes and book containers
- Prepare and complete all required paperwork
- Oversee the physical aspect of the work in the warehouse
- Collaborate with the Export Packing and Warehouse teams

Requirements:
- Proficiency in MS Office suite, including Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Excellent timekeeping skills
- Previous experience dealing directly with customers
- Willingness to learn new skills and work outside of normal remit
- Desirable: Previous logistics/warehouse planning experience

Working Hours:
- Monday - Thursday: 08:00 - 17:00
- Friday: 08:00 - 16:00
