Salt is seeking a Kafka Engineer for a remote Inside IR35 contract lasting 12-18 months within the financial services sector.
Candidates should have over 10 years of relevant experience in building and deploying Kafka clusters in on-premises and public cloud Kubernetes environments.
The role requires expertise in Kafka brokers, zookeepers, Kafka connect, schema registry, KSQL, Rest proxy, and Kafka Control center.
Hands-on experience with Kafka connectors and administration tasks such as provisioning and SSL configurations is essential.

Salt are recruiting for an immediate requirement for a client of ours within financial services sector who is looking for a Kafka Engineer.

This will be an Inside IR35 contract for 12-18 months. It would be a remote role with their main offices based in London.

Skills/Experience:

* This specific role will be building and deploying Kafka clusters on both onPrem and Public cloud Kubernetes environments. Relevant experience > 10 yrs.

* Provide expertise in Kafka brokers, zookeepers, Kafka connect, schema registry, KSQL, Rest proxy and Kafka Control center.

* Provide expertise and hands on experience working on Kafka connect using schema registry in a very high volume.

* Provide administration and operations of the Kafka platform - provisioning, access lists Kerberos and SSL configurations. Provide expertise and hands on experience working on Kafka connectors such as MQ connectors,

* Elastic Search connectors, JDBC connectors, File stream connector, JMS source connectors, Tasks, Workers, converters, Transforms.

* Experience within the financial/banking sector
