Kafka Specialist Engineer

• Develop 3-5-year streaming software strategies in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Design and maintain product and platform architecture in line with central governance.
• Stand up and administer On-Prem Kafka clusters and manage Kafka platform operations.
• Implement cost-effective and robust deployment patterns for customers.
• Provide expertise in Kafka components (brokers, zookeepers, Kafka connect, schema registry, etc.).
• Manage Kafka connectors, including MQ, Elastic Search, JDBC, and more.
• Participate in design reviews, capacity planning, and work estimation.
• Ensure high availability, performance, and security of Kafka platforms.
• Use automation tools like Docker, Jenkins, and GitLab for provisioning and security setups.

• Strong technical communication skills with engineers and stakeholders.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Experience in infrastructure as code and automation-first environments.
• Understanding of the software development lifecycle and engineering tools.
