We are currently working with an AV Systems Integration Company who are looking to expand their team. Their future growth is focussed heavily on expanding the quality of their service to to corporate clients. Role
The role will compliment existing lead engineers and will include but not be limited to:
- Leading mid to large-size jobs with a team of staff and contractors (reporting to a PM)
- Leading Tool box talks and the tasking of the team
- Preparing site documentation and goods to go to site
- Internal ordering of consumables needed for a job
- Some site meetings (communicating with building Site Managers, PM, and Pre-Install)
- Some pre site surveys
- Documenting site variations for the creation of as built documents
- Furthering the knowledge and experience of subordinates

Skills / Experience
- Leading onsite teams up to 10 from time to time.
- Working to time scales essential
- An eye for detail and quality essential
- Confident in dealing with clients essential
- Knowledge and experience in all aspects of AV essential
- Experience in termination of a variety of crimped and soldered connectors essential
- Well educated with an excellent grasp of English and Mathematics essential
- Good administration skills essential including MS office 365
- Experience in all aspects of AV useful
- Experience of programming audio processors and control systems useful.
- Knowledge and understanding of analogue and digital video standards including HDCP, 4K video, HDBaseT, Video and audio over IP useful.
- Knowledge and understanding of AV control systems such as Crestron, AMX and Extron useful.
- Knowledge and understanding of AV switching and routing systems useful
- Knowledge and understanding of analogue and digital audio systems including switching mixing and signal processing useful
- Knowledge and understanding of video conference solutions such as Polycom, Cisco, Lifesize and Skype for Business useful.
