Lead Shift Engineer - Electrical Bias

London - Chelsea

Salary: 47,454 per annum

Shifts - 4 on 4 off - Days only (7am - 7pm)

Brief

Lead Engineer needed for a well-known facilities management organisation based in Chelsea who are looking to employ an experienced and well-rounded Lead Engineer that takes pride in their work with an in-depth knowledge and interest of mechanical and electrical engineering. If you have experience working in hospitals or come from a life science background that would be a plus!

What the role entails:

Some of the main duties of the Lead engineer will include:

  • To supervise and monitor sub-contractors while on site and to confirm works completed are as agreed.
  • To produce shift report detailing any significant works carried out or works that could potentially have a significant impact on the operations on site.
  • Ensure that reactive tasks throughout the sites are completed and be proactive in highlighting areas where improvements can be made.
  • Ensure that plant faults and defects are swiftly remedied to always maintain plant in serviceable order.

What experience you need to be the successful Lead Engineer:

  • Looking for someone with a Mechanical and Engineering background
  • Ideally someone with leading experience
  • 17th / 18th Edition
  • 2391 - Bonus
  • ECS / JIB / CSCS - Bonus
  • knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word and Outlook
  • Experience using a CAFM system
  • Good experience and track record in working in Facilities Management
  • Good knowledge of building services and legislation
