Are you a qualified M&E engineer who has had experience of supervising a small team or leading engineers through small projects? Are you looking to come off the tools eventually and work up towards management? If so then this is the role for you!

Based in Denmark Hill for a world leading University, in a client side team, you will have the opportunity to work as a lead engineer on the campus, leading a small team of engineers. You will be working 8-4 Monday - Friday on the University Campus in Denmark Hill, this is a static role.

This Static Lead Engineer role will include:

  • Carrying out PPMs ensuring compliance and adhering to statutory regulations
  • Offering leadership to and giving day to day guidance to the Engineers and Maintenance team members
  • Taking responsibility forthe maintenance and operations of the electrical and HVAC services on campus
  • Supervising sub contractors
  • Working with the management team to ensure the quality and improvement of the maintenance services at all times

For this Lead Engineer role based in Denmark Hill we are looking for:

  • A technically competent M&EEngineer with a time served apprenticeship in either electrical maintenance or mechanical maintenance - a full qualification in either electrical or mechanical is essential for this role.
  • Experience of multi skilled building servicesmaintenance
  • Experience of leading a team of engineers or supervising staff
  • Legionella awareness and IOSH managing safely
  • Experience and working knowledge of building regulations and health and safety
  • A team player, looking for a long term career within estates management
