Live Out Head Housekeeper job in Belgravia, London

An excellent opportunity for a Head Housekeeper to work in a role that is partly for a private residence and partly for an office.

The residence is a large flat at the top of this 6-floor building where the offices are. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order to 5-star hotel standards throughout.

The family visits their beautiful high-end residence, 5 to 6 times per year and as the apartment as well as the office features antiques and therefore good knowledge of products is required.

This role requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to lead by example to other full time Housekeepers.

Private experience a strong preference but also open to 5* hotel experience.

Duties to include:

  • Overseeing the housekeeping team
  • Being hands on with day to day cleaning
  • Laundry and ironing for the principals when visiting and staying at their residence
  • Training the housekeeping team
  • Vacuuming, mopping. dusting
  • Keep the exterior of the building clean and tidy
  • Resetting meeting rooms, replenishing pantries etc
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks
  • Support the Workplace Experience Manager when needed
  • Serving refreshments at meetings
  • Notifing Manager of any maintenance issues
  • Ensuring health and safety

Property: 6 floors building, one-floor residence

Working week: Monday - Friday

Working hours: 2 shifts to do....6:30 am - 3:30 pm or 10:00 am - 7:00 pm with an hour lunch break

Salary: £28k

Start: As soon as the right candidate will be found
