My well established education client are currently seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Tradesperson/Handyperson to join their team. They have a variety of fantastic facilities which will provide the successful candidate with an exciting and varied workload.

Some examples of responsibilities within the role will include carrying out a variety of general maintenance tasks, including furniture repairs, painting, and hanging items such as pictures and whiteboards. You will also be responsible for roof and gulley inspections, repairing damaged flooring, and assisting the team with other small maintenance projects.

The ideal candidate will have:

- Proven experience in a maintenance/handyman role, ideally within a commercial or facilities environment.

- Proficiency in general maintenance tasks such as painting, furniture repairs, and basic plumbing or electrical work.

- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.

- Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to maintenance issues.

- Good communication skills and a positive, can-do attitude.

- City & Guilds or NVQ Level 2 qualification
