Job Title: Mandarin speaking Risk Associate (6 Months FTC)

The Skills You'll Need: Spoken and written Mandarin to native level, with Risk Management in Banking or Finance sector. Fresh graduates with Master degree (or above) in Finance or Economic could be considered.

Your New Salary: £30-45k depending on experience

Job Status: 6 months contract, possible to extend depending on performance or business needs.

Work Pattern: Hybrid working, with 4 days in the office

Risk Associate - Summary:

To assist the risk oversight of the Risk Management department. This includes performing regular risk monitoring, reporting, and ad-hoc risk analysis, ensuring reporting accuracy, supporting credit, market and liquidity and operational risk review, also providing support and facilitating to the risk committees.

Risk Associate - What You'll be Doing:

  • To monitor and reporting Market, Liquidity and Operational Risk Management and all other materialized risks metrics and limits defined within local risk appetite framework
  • Assist the preparation of market risk assessment report and keep up to date;
  • Provide assistance in other areas including Liquidity and Operational risk management when required;
  • Assist the preparation in stress testing, scenario analysis, simulations regularly for the portfolio;
  • Produce timely and appropriate statements and reports regarding risk management;
  • To ensure that risk management activities are carried out properly and consistently with procedures and principles specified in regulation
  • Assist HO Communication and Reporting;
  • Provide support in risk related administrative work;
  • Any other duties assigned by the Head of Specialized Risk Team and Department Head.

Risk Associate - The Skills You'll Need to Succeed:

  • Spoken and written Mandarin to native level
  • Experience in risk management in a financial institution as a risk analyst preferably; fresh graduates with financial background could be considered.
  • Master's degree (or above) in finance/ economics
  • Organise and able to prioritise own workload in order to meet tight deadlines
  • Self-confident with good communication skills ( both written and verbal) and problem-solving skills
  • Desire to learn, develop and contribute to the wider team goals
  • Able to work in a fast faced and dynamic environment
