Marine Account Handler / Broker Technician

A well-established, reputable and International Lloyd's Broker, who are prided as a key player within the London Market Insurance, now have an exciting position within their Marine Hull & Machinery Division. With offices across the world, you will be based in their head office, which is situated in the heart of the City of London and near to the Lloyd's of London building.

This exciting position involves working with Brokers to assist with the placement of complex Worldwide Hull & Machinery, account handling duties and creating client and market documentation for the placement of risks.

Role Duties

  • Working collaboratively with Brokers to assist with the placement of Marine Risks
  • Preparation of MRC Slips, Endorsements and Cover notes
  • Assisting with client and market inquiries
  • Building and maintaining relationships with markets
  • Placing of business as and when required
  • Assisting with identifying renewals with Brokers

Role Requirements

  • 3 years + of experience in a Marine Technical position for a Lloyd's Broker
  • Experienced in Marine Hull & Machinery (Re)insurance
  • Experienced in creating MRC Slips and Endorsements
  • Solid communication an relationship skills
  • Strong organisation and attention to detail skills
