MICE Manager, London / Hybrid c£45-50k depending on experience. A newly created and exciting opportunity to join this well-established, global travel organisation that already specialises as a Destination Management Company (DMC) and travel wholesaler to lead their Meeting, Incentives, Conferences and Exhibitions as well as Special Interests Tourism Division. MICE Manager Responsibilities

  • Develop existing and new business partnerships to drive market share in this growing segment of the travel industry.
  • Undertake sales calls, virtual and in-person client meetings and attend industry conferences and events to secure new business opportunities.
  • Create client proposal documentation and support with content for the website.
  • Lead a small team of 2 which is expected to grow in the near future.
  • Work cross functionally with operational teams to ensure they put together and deliver programmes in line with client requirements.
  • Work closely with contracting teams to ensure they secure the right inventory and supporting on an ad hoc basis with supplier management.
  • Occasionally attend key events to ensure the operational team are delivering as agreed and further enhance client relations.

MICE Manager Skills Required

  • Previous experience winning and delivering MICE programs in Europe.
  • B2B sales experience in the MICE and/or Special Interest Tourism (SIT) sectors.
  • A background in creating, proposing and operating MICE packages.
  • Experience leading and developing small teams.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills.
  • Flexible to travel internationally.

MICE Manager Additional Details

  • A basic salary in the region of £45,000 - 50,000 per annum depending on experience.
  • Bonus potential based on company and individual performance
  • Hybrid working - minimum of 2 days a week in Central London office.
