Job Advert: Multi-skilled Fabric Shift EngineerLocation: LondonSalary: £37.7k per year +overtime
We're looking for a fabric to join our team! This is a hands-on role where you'll support the maintenance and operation of a high-profile venue and play a key part in ensuring events run smoothly.
Shift Pattern:
- 4 days on, 4 days off, 4 days on, 6 days off
- Rotating early and late shifts
- Perform planned maintenance tasks across the site.
- Respond quickly to reactive maintenance needs.
- Support event operations, ensuring all systems run smoothly.
- Oversee contractors and ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
- Complete maintenance reports and keep systems up to date.
- Qualifications in carpentry, plumbing, or general building works (e.g., NVQ or equivalent).
- Experience in facilities maintenance, ideally in high-profile environments.
- Basic knowledge of domestic water systems and Legionella awareness (L8).
- A positive, proactive attitude and strong problem-solving skills.
- Flexibility to work shifts and adapt to a dynamic environment.
Desirable Skills:
- Certifications such as IOSH, PASMA, or MEWP IPAF.
- Basic understanding of HVAC and electrical systems.
- Experience working in public attractions or busy venues.
