Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct on-site surveys to assess painting and decorating requirements for residential and commercial properties.
- Provide accurate and detailed cost estimates for projects, considering materials, labour, and any additional resources.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their preferences, needs, and budget constraints.
- Stay updated on industry trends, products, and techniques to provide innovative and cost-effective solutions.
- Work closely with project managers and teams to ensure seamless project execution.
- Maintain accurate records of survey findings, costings, and client communication.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Painting and Decorating Surveyor.
- In-depth knowledge of painting and decorating materials, techniques, and industry standards.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficient in using surveying tools and software.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
Qualifications:
- Relevant qualification in surveying or a related field.
- Membership or accreditation with a professional surveying body (e.g., RICS) is advantageous.
