Our client is looking for a payroll & benefits executive to join their prestigious business in Bermondsey. This role supports the business in both the HR and Payroll functions, ensuring efficient processes and further support for the business.

This role is key in maintaining compliance, managing payroll activities and administering company benefits to employees. You will be processing two monthly payrolls, split between salaried and hourly paid employees. (approx. 400).

Payroll Duties:

  • Collate and enter payroll data, including new starters, leavers, absences, and adjustments, processing any statutory payments due.
  • Ensuring the monthly payrolls are processed accurately and on time.
  • Liaise with department managers to collate payroll monthly information.
  • Ensure Auto Enrolment pension processes are timely and accurate.
  • Assist with end-of-month and year-end payroll reporting. (for both Payroll & Finance)
  • Address payroll-related inquiries, escalating as required.
  • Liaise with Government bodies for monthly reporting as well as to answer queries.
  • Apprenticeship levy administration.
  • Assist with yearend audits from 3 parties.
  • Monthly Finance Journals & reconciliation.

Benefit Duties:

  • Administer day-to-day operations of the company's benefits schemes, including holiday, health insurance, and other welfare benefits.
  • Process staff enrolment, changes, and terminations in the benefits schemes.
  • Dealing with employee benefits-related queries, resolving issues, and advising on options.
  • Compiling data for P11ds/ Managing Payrolling Benefits
  • Assist with annual renewals and reviews of benefits on offer.
  • Arrange annual pension meetings with staff

Other

  • Ensure compliance with GDPR and other relevant data protection regulations across the board.
  • Assist with general support on HR admin & system.
  • Assist to create Starter packs.
