Payroll Consultant

We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced In-house International Payroll professional to join a Global Financial Services firm and growing team. The role will play a key part in the running the UK and international payrolls, as well as upcoming projects to onboard further payrolls.

The Payroll Consultant responsibilities will include:

  • End to end running of the UK in-house payroll, including expatriate payroll.
  • Support the running of international outsourced payrolls.
  • Support all payroll month and year end reporting activities.
  • Administer company benefits and pension schemes.
  • Ensure that all the relevant deadlines are met and that the payments are reconciled and made on time.
  • Support various internal and external audits.
  • Work closely with other internal teams including benefits, global mobility, and wider HR.
  • Liaise with and manage external providers, pushing back when necessary.

To be successful in the role, you will need:

  • Minimum 10 years payroll experience.
  • UK In-house payroll experience within a regulated financial services environment.
  • International payroll experience (France, US, & APAC would be an advantage).
  • Experience using ADP iHCM and Workday systems desirable.
  • Understanding of financial services industry and regulations essential.
  • Very strong communication and the confidence to challenge stakeholders and providers.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
