We are recruiting for a Senior Physics Teacher to work in a fantastic secondary school in September 2025. The ideal candidate will be trained to teach science at a High School level (Grades 7-12), and ideally have a specialism in Physics. You must be comfortable teaching that specialism to students up to 18 years old. The candidate will also be able to demonstrate leadership experience as this will be a head of department role as well.

The school hiring is located in South West London, in a very desirable area. They are rated 'Outstanding' by Ofsted. There are excellent links to travel directly in London, and other surrounding cities. There is fantastic public transport, great shops and restaurants, entertainment as well as beautiful green spaces nearby.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, assess, and monitor student progress to ensure high standards of learning.
  • Inspire a passion for science and foster curiosity in students.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Degree in Science or a related subject.

  • Must demonstrate leadership experience.
