Tate are working in partnership with a high-end London fashion branch to recruit a Planner to join their dynamic team on a temporary basis, responsible for all Planning & Forecasting, Reporting & Analysis within their Product Category.

This role is pivotal to driving the business strategy forward, by creating and maintaining effective cross-functional relationships across the division.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Planning & Forecasting: Develop detailed sales, margin, and inventory plans to support the Product Division's strategic goals, including bottom-up sales and procurement forecasts for fashion and replenishment targets.
  • Reporting & Analysis: Lead all related reporting and analysis to support divisional performance, with a focus on category-level data to inform decision-making.
  • Forecasting: Manage both medium (1 year) and long-term (5 year) forecasting at style and category levels, partnering with regional teams for global inventory optimization.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with vendors, supply chain, and sourcing teams to manage capacity planning and intake flow.

Pre-Season Responsibilities:

  • Category Planning:Shape category plans aligned with merchandising strategies and the global seasonal plan, analyzing key product and category metrics.
  • Demand Planning: Conduct detailed analysis and forecasting to support demand planning, driving profitability and managing supply chain risks.
  • Global Sourcing: Own RM forecasts and recommend pre-buy proposals, managing product forecasts down to SKU level.
  • Replenishment Management: Oversee replenishment inventory, global forecast management, and report on seasonal placement proposals.

In-Season Responsibilities:

  • Inventory Management: Own FG inventory placement proposals, manage HUB Free Stock, and lead in-season inventory reactions based on retail and wholesale forecasts.
  • Markdown & Delist Proposals:Propose markdown and delist content, timing, and exit strategies to maximize opportunities.

Reporting & Analysis:

  • Standard & Ad Hoc Reporting: Lead all reporting and analysis required to drive the Product Division strategy, supporting milestone meetings and day-to-day decisions.
  • Seasonal Analysis: Conduct seasonal hindsight analysis, ensuring a global understanding of business performance and future opportunities.
