The Role:As a PPA Cover Teacher, you will be responsible for providing high-quality teaching and learning across various year groups in the absence of the class teacher. You will be expected to deliver pre-planned lessons, manage classroom behavior, and ensure that students are engaged and motivated throughout the day. You will be working with a supportive and friendly team, ensuring a consistent learning experience for our pupils.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cover PPA time for class teachers across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.

  • Deliver engaging and effective lessons using provided planning.

  • Ensure that the classroom environment is conducive to learning and positive behavior.

  • Support students with additional learning needs and promote inclusive education.

  • Provide feedback on student progress and behavior to the relevant class teacher.

  • Work closely with the leadership team and other teaching staff to maintain high standards of teaching and learning.
