Our client, a big name in fashion publications, is looking for a PR Executive to join their team, who has experience working across fashion and luxury that can help us in preparation with the second edition of their new publication. A note that this role will initially be a 6-month fixed term contract with the potential to go permanent (to be discussed at the end of the contract. This is also a fully remote role.The successful candidate will help with outreach, ideally with some contacts that can be utilised to help set up meetings and pitch to prospective advertisers and partners. The ideal candidate will come from a fashion or luxury background who is familiar with the industry and how to operate in it. As there is a big focus on Paris, it would be beneficial if candidates had any pre-existing contacts in France, can speak French, or located in Paris (relocation is not necessary for this role as it is fully remote).The role will typically involve the following responsibilities and qualifications:Main responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key media outlets, journalists, and influencers in the fashion and luxury sectors.
- Create and distribute press releases, pitch stories, and arrange interviews to secure media coverage.
- Manage press inquiries, ensuring timely responses and efficient handling of media needs.
- Plan and execute communications with advertisers ahead of the launch of the second edition, with contacts that can utilise their presence in product launches, fashion shows, and other brand events.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop integrated communication strategies that align with the edition’s overall objectives.
- Identify and engage with relevant advertisers, influencers and VIPs to promote the edition, and managed these relationships.
Experience and Education
- Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
- A background working in PR, preferably in the fashion or luxury industry.
- French language skills are highly desirable, particularly for roles involving interaction with Paris-based teams or media.
- Strong understanding of the fashion and luxury markets, including current trends and key players.
- Established network of media contacts, especially in fashion and lifestyle publications, brands, advertisers.
