Reed Food & FMCG have been briefed to recruit for a Quality Assurance Auditor to join a Food Manufacturing business in North London. Our client is looking for someone who has experience within the food industry and is looking for a step up into an auditor role.

This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to progress their career within Food & FMCG, you will be auditing a high-risk product (RTE) and it will give good exposure to lots of different tasks within technical, the right stepping stone for someone wanting to become a Technical/Quality Manager.

Job Title: Quality Assurance Auditor  

Location: North London

Salary: £25,000 - £29,000 Per Annum (DOE)

Some Key Responsibilities:

Completion of online process audits in line with site audit plan and communicate to relevant personnel

Raw material intake checks in line with site plan and raw material specification

Management of the sites schedule for calibration of equipment used for food safety, quality or legality

Auditing of CCP’s and prerequisites in line with the site audit plan and raising non-conformities as required

GMP and weekly inspections in line with the site audit plan and communication of actions required

Candidate specification:

HACCP trained

Previous experience/degree in Food

Eligibility to work in the UK

Strong communication skills  

Strong IT skills
