Our client a leading (award-winning) set of commercial barristers’ chambers based in the London is currently looking for a Recruitment Coordinator.

The Role

We are looking to employ a Recruitment Coordinator with outstanding administrative and communication skills. You are expected to be a conceptual thinker with superb organisational and time management skills. You must be reliable and should accurately follow instructions with the ability to multitask and acclimatize to a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

Collate all pupillage applications

Create timetable for process

Fairly allocate shortlisting and interview groups

Distribute applications to shortlisting group

Distribute applications to interview panels

Communicate with applicants about their application

Organise mini pupillage days

Communicate with barristers about their duties within mini pupillage

Create pupillage advertisements on the pupillage Gateway

Coordinate interviews

Set and arrange pupillage interviews

Inform candidates of outcome

Ensure all paperwork during pupillage is submitted

Keep supervisor list up to date and arrange training

Provide diversity date to the pupillage committee

Ensure all forms are sent to the Bar Council and the Bar Standards Board,

Organise monthly lunches

Help HR with training, arranging interviews and meetings etc

Person Specification:

Effective people management skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Comfortable liaising with Barristers and KC’s

Works well under pressure and meets tight deadlines.

Highly computer literate with capability in email, MS Office, and related business and communication tools.

Fantastic organizational and time management skills.

Meticulous attention to detail.

A team player who strives to help others.
