The Red Hat OpenStack Platform Architect will significantly contribute to service and platform architecture, tooling frameworks and issue troubleshooting; whilst also participating in CI/CD initiatives and maintaining the Red Hat OpenStack Platform production chain pipeline.This role is a remote role (UK based) and does not offer visa sponsorship.Role Requirements* Proven experience in designing and implementing production-ready multi-region OpenStack cloud infrastructure, ensuring high availability, scalability, and reliability across multiple sites.* Strong experience in Kubernetes base Openstack Deploy, Configure, and Management of OpenStack Keystone, Nova, Neutron, Cinder, Glance and other services.* Hands-on experience in deploy production-ready storage clusters and provision for Block Storage, File Storage and Object Storage.* Strong experience in Ansible and Terraform tools to automate regular tasks and eliminate human dependency.* Extensive experience in setting up and managing performance monitoring systems for OpenStack & CEPH environments using tools such as Nagios, Prometheus, Zabbix, and OpenTelemetry.* Perform regular upgrades and patch management for OpenStack platform to ensure stability and reliability.* Good understanding of implementing security measures and best practices to protect customer infrastructure and workloads.* Hands-on experience in handling production troubleshooting, incident management and customer escalations.Required Skills & Experience* Over 5 years of experience with OpenStack in production environments * Experience managing and operating CEPH Storage clusters * Expertise in architecting, managing and upgrading large-scale OpenStack deployments * Strong Linux skills with excellent troubleshooting abilities * Advanced proficiency in infrastructure automation tools such as Ansible and Terraform * Expertise in at least one programming language, with a preference for Python * A solid understanding of networking concepts and protocols * Strong knowledge of CI/CD and/or VCS tools, such as Jenkins and Git * Familiarity with container technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes For more information or immediate consideration for this opportunity, please contact Charlie Grant at CPS Group UK on or email By applying to this advert you are giving CPS Group (UK) Ltd authority to hold and process your data for this specific role and any other roles we may deem suitable to you over time.
