Reprographics Officer - Secondary School, Southwark

We are seeking an experienced Reprographics Officer to join a vibrant and dynamic mainstream secondary school in Southwark. This is a full-time, long-term role with an immediate start. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in reprographics, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to manage printing and copying requests efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operating and maintaining reprographics equipment, including photocopiers, printers, and scanners
  • Managing bulk printing, copying, and binding requests for teaching staff and departments
  • Ensuring the timely delivery of printed materials, including worksheets, booklets, and promotional materials
  • Monitoring and ordering consumables (paper, toner, etc.) to ensure smooth operation
  • Assisting staff with printing and formatting requirements
  • Troubleshooting any technical issues with reprographic equipment and liaising with service providers for maintenance
  • Ensuring GDPR compliance and confidentiality in handling sensitive documents
  • Providing support in the preparation of presentations and visual aids
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a reprographics role (essential)
  • Knowledge of reprographics equipment and related software
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • A DBS check on the update service (essential)
  • Proactive approach with strong problem-solving skills
