Handle are excited to be recruiting a Royalties and Copyright Assistant for a Leading Music Company. This role works closely with the Royalty and Copyright Manager and will assist in all aspects of the royalties and copyright process providing key information to the various Business Heads and Management.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is interested in the music industry and looking to develop a career within music royalties and administration.

This role includes and is not limited to:

  • Assisting Managers with administrative processes with clearing and licensing music
  • Quarterly royalty runs
  • Copyright and royalty analysis
  • Assistant Mechanical Royalty Manager with processing licences and reporting
  • Rights Management
  • Entry, processing and preparing royalty and licence requests
  • Assisting with research when needed
  • Other ad-hoc admin duties and analysis

We are looking for someone that is enthusiastic and ambitious, with excellent communication skills and an eye for detail.

This role is suitable for a graduate (Music / Music business related degree) or someone with Royalties / Finance or Data experience from within the music industry. You must have a strong knowledge of Excel, Music Rights, Copyright and Royalties and a keen interest and passion for music across all genres.
