The Business:
The business has a Turnover of around £50 million and have multiple global offices, with over 120 people based in the UK. Remaining financially strong and growing year on year through innovative new business strategies, the business has continued to scale over the last 3 years consistently. Due to an increased international presence after the acquisition of multiple labels in Europe, there is a fantastic opportunity to play a fantastic role in facilitating the growth of the business.
The Role:
Reporting into a Royalties Manager and sitting in an established team including a fantastic Head of Royalties, this is a great opportunity for ambitious junior candidates looking to kick start their career. In terms of the day-to-day, you will be responsible for streamlining the royalties systems and ensuring royalties deadlines are continually hit. You will also be responsible for providing royalty information for performance analysis undertaken by the senior management team. There will be broad range of exciting duties and tasks to get hands on involvement with, alongside huge internal growth opportunities within the business.
Duties:
- Ensure accurate set-up and maintenance of client data and repertoire royalty conditions within our group royalty system
- Processing and distributing monthly statements across groups distributed labels and Artists.
- Liaising with Business Affairs and Management to ensure accuracy within their reporting.
- Liaising with global finance teams regarding payments, costs and recharges for the distributed labels and artists.
- Manage ad-hoc projects to improve efficiency of royalty process including analysis project on allocation of various income streams.
- Manage company integration projects
- Support the Royalties Manager with general royalty tasks.
What we need to see (Essential):
- 6-12 months previous experience in finance or royalties
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills
What we need to see (Bonus):
- Record Maestro experience
Salary: up to £30k
