xciting Opportunity in the Music Industry!Are you passionate about music and numbers? Our client is offering an exciting opportunity for a Royalty Analyst to join a dynamic team at the heart of the music business. This role will allow you to hone your skills in royalty accounting while working with top-tier industry data.What You’ll Do:

  • Prepare and edit sales data for upload into industry-leading royalty systems.
  • Assist in the creation of royalty accounting statements for various periods (monthly, quarterly, semi-annually).
  • Reconcile and clear royalty-related balance sheet accounts.
  • Analyse royalty data from recording and publishing labels, as well as digital platforms.
  • Prepare journals for royalty income on a per-title basis.
  • Manage a royalty receivables tracker and follow up on outstanding reports.
  • Collaborate with finance teams for reconciliation purposes.
  • Maintain and manage relevant royalty portals/websites.
  • Support the Royalties Manager with ad-hoc tasks.

About you

  • At least 3 years of experience in Royalties in Music.
  • Entry-level or part-qualified in accountancy.
  • Proficiency in Excel and data management.
  • Experience with Counterpoint and Curve royalty systems is an advantage.
  • Strong understanding of music royalties, publishing, and recording income is a plus.
  • Excellent multitasking, organizational, and time-management skills.
  • A collaborative team player with a drive to learn and grow.
