Sales & Admissions Executive

The Institute for Arts in Therapy & Education (IATE) is one of London’s most prestigious independent therapy training institutions, with over 30 years of standing. We are looking for an enthusiastic and bright full-time Sales & Admissions Executive to join our team at our beautiful new premises at Sugar House Island, east London.

The successful candidate will be a highly motivated and enthusiastic salesperson who is responsible for taking initial enquiries about our courses, translating them into sales and converting them into course enrolments. They will ensure they proactively follow up any telephone, email or in-person requests for information and ensure that enquiries are followed up in a timely manner, following up referrals for information as appropriate.

They will ensure that IATE is professionally represented and that any associated advertising is appropriate, positive and consistently portrays IATE with a view to increasing student numbers. They will participate in marketing events, such as “Taster Days” and TES educational fairs, and follow up customer satisfaction to ensure that recruitment on to courses is maximised. The role will also include accompanying administrative duties relating to data inputting and generic office-based tasks.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage all course enquiries and ensure maximum take-up of courses in line with IATE targets
  • Be the first point of contact for all telephone, email and face to face course enquiries
  • Liaise with our Academic Officer team to ensure enquiries translate to applications and enrolments on courses
  • Translate course enquiries into admissions and oversee this administrative process on the student CRM
  • Place adverts in publications and on social media and track their effectiveness
  • Produce a weekly sales report for senior management Update and maintain often sensitive student data within our student CRM
  • Advertise and organise Taster Days and attend as a representative of the organisation
  • Arrange applicant interviews Distribute, collate and report on student feedback

The candidate will:

  • Have an excellent phone manner and well-developed interpersonal skills
  • Be able to offer excellent and in-depth customer service to prospective IATE trainees
  • Demonstrate superb written and verbal communication
  • Be able to prioritise a busy workload while working independently
  • Be a bright and proactive self-starter with an eye for improving systems and processes
  • Have outstanding IT literacy, ideally within the Microsoft 365 suite, including SharePoint
  • Be adept at taking on new information and mastering new skills swiftly and independently Thrive working in a small, supportive team
