As a Development Scientist you will be working to develop, optimise and validate a range of assays to support with delivering both internal and external clinical research projects. This is a predominantly lab-based role.
Description
As a Scientist - Assay Development you will:
- Develop and validate a range of assays to support with ongoing clinical research projects
- Support with sample analysis and delivery of projects, communicating with clients and/or stakeholder to provide updates
- Prepare and review documentation including study plans and completed reports
- Assist in writing and reviewing publications aligned to research objectives
- The main focus will be relating to virology based techniques and assays
Profile
To be successful you will have:
- PhD in relevant discipline with a background in Virology
- First-hand experience developing and validating assays in an industry setting
- In depth experience and knowledge of virology techniques including those such as infectivity assays
- An ability to work on multiple projects simultaneous, prioritising workload to deliver objectives in a collaborative environment
