A specialist SEND school for primary aged pupils with Autism are looking for a qualified and experienced SEND teacher to join them on a full-time contract basis for the academic year.

The Role 

In this role you will teaching in a mixed age primary class of pupils who are SLD and PMLD learners. You will be supported by a team of experienced teaching assistants to deliver highly personalised teaching and learning, therapy programmes and personal care. You will have support from senior leadership and access to regular CPD training to support you to develop your practice with complex learners

The school are looking for a SLD & PMLD Teacher with the following:

  • Experience of PMLD / SLD /complex needs
  • A creative and caring approach
  • Confident working in of a large inter-disciplinary team alongside medical and therapy staff

This specialist primary school is for children aged 2 to 11 with severe learning difficulties (SLD), profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD), Autism (ASD) and complex medical needs.
