Senior Baker

KURO BAKERYis a local artisan bakery located in Notting Hill Gate. Part of theKUROfamily, we offer an amazing selection of sourdoughs, pastries, and cakes.

We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and talented Sous Baker who takes pride in producing exceptionally high-quality baked products, made with passion, creativity and care using traditional baking techniques and the finest ingredients.

We expect that the ideal candidate will:

- Manage all aspects of bread production to ensure consistently standards across all our products
- Manage production of finest quality vienoisserie and cakes produced daily in the bakery
- Lead in the development of new products that represent the bakerys values whilst remaining one step ahead of trends.
- Consistently review and deliver improvements in both process efficiencies and product quality in the bakery.
- To create and introduce a lunch offering onto our menu of sandwiches and toasties.
- Ensure the highest standards of food hygiene and follow health & safety guidelines with responsibility for the bakery.
- Stock control, scheduling, rotas & ordering.

Candidate must be:

- Experienced in bread and viennoiserie production
- Able to travel to Notting Hill in the early hours of the morning
- Experience working in an artisan bakery
- A genuine interest in food
- Innovative, creative and willing to bring new ideas to the table
- A team player
