I am currently recruiting for a leading Lloyd's Syndicate who are seeking a Senior Claims Adjuster to join their growing Property team.

My client is looking for someone with strong US Property D&F Claims experience from an Open Market background with 10+ years in the London Market. The role will be predominately handling North American business with exposure to other jurisdictions and you will be responsible for mentoring junior members of the team too.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing feedback to underwriters and management on the structure of claim issues and related risk information to improve overall underwriting standards.
  • Ensuring compliance with Lloyd's minimum standards and assisting underwriters and claims adjusters as needed.
  • Managing claims within the parameters of the Claims Procedure Manual and adhering to SLAs.
  • Attending market meetings and conference calls as necessary.
  • Participating in educational activities beneficial to the Property Claims Team and assisting in the training of Claims Adjusters.
  • Collaborating with Brokers, Experts, Lawyers, and Market Peers to enhance the team's reputation in the claims market.
  • Ensuring fair treatment of customers and handling complaints in accordance with company policy.
  • Upholding core values in all interactions with internal and external contacts.
  • Undertaking any additional ad hoc activities or project work as needed.
