Senior Decision Analyst

Hybrid - London

Up to £65,000

This is a great opportunity to join a leading financial institution as a Senior Decision Analyst

THE COMPANY

This role sits within one of the world's leading financial institutions and top banks in the UK's, and you'll join the team covering credit cards, mortgages, loans, and more. You'll act as an internal consultancy and focus on fixing and improving problems within the business.

As a Decision Analyst, you will deliver hypothesis-driven data review to understand key business issues relative to the bank. Once this insight is acquired you will then use it to drive the banks agenda and create value for those individuals involved in the business both internally and externally. You will be depended on to understand performance trends, consumer behavior and commercial opportunities and risks through applying your quantitative analytical skills.

THE ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Understanding company data to help maximize the performance of products, support product plans and drive key strategic initiatives.
  • Contributing to the design, testing, and production of information across decision engines to identify causal links between consumer behavior, business performance, and opportunities.
  • Demonstrating a unique approach to data-based problem solving and the development of a strategy that supports the business.
  • Collaborating in data-focused initiatives and implementing new data management and manipulation tools
  • Developing target approach to accurately highlight and understand customer needs

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES:

  • Experience in creating financial and consumer behavioral business models
  • Experience in using innovative customer analysis to identify commercial opportunities
  • Expertise in using SQL/Python/SAS
  • Experience in customer segmentation and customer targeting
