Senior FM Estimator

Senior FM Estimator - Up to 80,000 per annum - Hybrid Working - South West & Central London

A Leading International Building Services company are looking for an established Senior Estimator to take full responsibility on multiple contracts & projects throughout the business.

You will be responsible for managing opportunities in the region of 5m - 10m and working for a company that takes great pride in the level of service it provides for its clients.

This role is perfect for an established Senior Estimator from an FM background looking to join a leading service provider where they can progress and grow their career further. The position is hybrid working and you will be required to spend two days working in the office based in either Central London or Wimbledon.

Duties:

• Working with the Strategic Sourcing Manager to procure specialist subcontractors to ensure compliance to a client's requirements and overall competitiveness and value for money
• Working with other stakeholders to identify, capture and develop win themes for each opportunity
• Preparation of material take offs and liaison with subcontractors/suppliers to quantify requirements of a tender.
• Obtain competitive and accurate quotations from specialists.
• An ability to understand and verify supplier and subcontractor quotations for compliancy.
• Keep up-to-date on industry best practice and ensure that tools and solutions used for bid compilation are relevant, innovative, efficient and effective.
• Ensure tenders are prepared to a high standard and meet the client's deadlines.
• Liaising with other members of the estimating team and contracts managers.
• Reviewing pricing models and procedures to ensure the most efficient, innovative and productive methods are always being applied
• Carry out estimates using current estimation packages.
• Develop working relationships with design consultants, main contractors and clients to establish communication paths.
• Undertake site visits and surveys
• Evaluate and clearly understand the details and requirements for each tender
• Be up to date with the latest estimator techniques and procedures

Hours of Work, Salary & Benefits

• Up to 80,000 per annum - Negotiable upon experience
• Hybrid Working - Monday to Friday - 08:00am to 17:00pm

Requirements:

• At least 5 years' experience as an Estimator in Hard FM services, working within an M&E Contractor environment.
• Strong estimating experience with a proven track record within the construction and /or facilities management sectors
• Excellent understanding of commercial tendering process and procedures
• Excellent Negotiation Skills
